Bethany poured casually some coffee in her cup, feeling slightly more energised as the scent of the warm beverage tingled her nostrils. Her blond partner wrapped her arms tenderly around her, as she gave the brunette a small peck on her cheek, before she casually rested her chin on her shoulder.

“Good morning, Sleepy Head! Coffee?” Bethany said with a chuckle.

“Yes, please!” Stacy responded lazily, as she took the cup that was offered to her.

“Though, I don’t see why we can’t spend the entire morning in bed. I expected you like this idea too” she mumbled, taking a sip from her drink.

“As appealing as this sound, I have a lot of things to do. You already talked me into taking last night off, but I can’t afford to allow this day to simply pass by as well” Bethany said.

“Big deal, you finished your night patrol earlier, because for once, things were calm in this city!” Stacy remarked, raising her finger to emphasize her words.

“Even you admitted that you needed some time off, once in a while. So why not continue this to the next day?” she continued, with a wave of her hand.

“Last night may have been unexpectedly calm, but it doesn’t mean that this night will be the same as well. On the contrary, my investigation these past few days has indicated that something big will go down tonight. And I need to get ready” the private detective said, as she took a sip from her beverage, while browsing through some files.

“I knew I went too easy on you last night! Otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to get out of bed again” Stacy pouted, as Bethany playfully jabbed her on her arm.

“Will you stop already?” she said with a faint blush, as Stacy stuck her tongue out.

“You know, if you want that much to spend time with me, you can always join me in my patrol tonight. I could use some extra help” the brunette suggested lightly.

“I don’t know, Beth” Stacy mumbled, rubbing her chin deep in thought.

“I know I have helped you before, but these were infiltrating missions, which more like my style. But jumping through rooftops, and wearing a costume. I don’t know about that” she pondered.

“Well, you do have a suit, sort of. You can wear that bodysuit that you put on in your missions. I think this is more than, okay” Bethany said with a sly smirk, as the blond smiled back.

“And as for a mask, you can use one of your visors. It will give a tactical advantage too. But the costume is not really the problem, is it?” Bethany said with a knowing voice, as she narrowed her eyes, taking her professional, investigating look.

“Of course it isn’t” Stacy shook her head, putting her cup on the counter, before she let out a sigh. Bethany allowed her partner to take her time, and simply observed her with interest.

“It’s just, how do I put it? I am not, a heroine like you, okay? I cannot just walk around, jump through rooftops,  talk about justice, and put bad guys behind bars. Okay, I might have put some guys behind bars, but in a different way. I have also done some things, not so heroic. I’m not a good girl like you. I know it might be a silly reason, but that’s how I feel” Stacy tried to explain her feelings.

“Well, you were certainly not a good girl last night” Bethany commented, causing both of them to giggle.

“But seriously, I don’t think it’s a stupid reason. I think I get it. But as you mentioned, you have already helped me before, so this won’t be much different. Even more so, we might have to do some sneaking around this time too, so really, the only difference is that I will be in my costume. Actually, I thought that his might provide some extra, motivation” Bethany took a sip from her beverage, while her eyes were still fixed on her partner.

“You know, perhaps I should think twice before I call you a good girl next time” the blond commented, as the two young women giggled again.

“So really, I think you might be overreacting, Stacy. Perhaps it’s simpler than you think” Bethany said lightly, putting her cup on the kitchen table.

“Perhaps, you are right. I don’t know, I’ll have to think about it. But in the meantime, I think I will remain a super agent, instead of a super heroine” Stacy said, still a little hesitant.

“Sounds good to me! I just thought that it would be better if I had another partner with me tonight” Bethany said, as she turned around and walked towards her desk, causing Stacy to look towards her with a shocked expression.

“Another partner? What do you mean, another partner? Are you meeting with someone else tonight?” she asked frantically.

“Actually, I am. A fellow heroine just happened to be in the city, so I’m meeting her tonight. Our chances will be better if we work together. Too bad that you aren’t coming, you would like her. She’s quite amazing!” Bethany said, trying to hold back a laugh at the blond’s twitching eyebrows.

“Is that so? Fine then, I’m coming too!” Stacy suddenly said, folding her arms.

“Really? What changed your mind?” Bethany inquired, with an amused expression.

“I’m just curious to meet this amazing friend of yours! Actually, one of the several, amazing friends of yours! And since I know how big of a flirt you are, especially around your heroine friends, there’s no way I’m letting you on your own!” Stacy responded, with her arms still folded.

“I suppose you have a point about the flirt part. It’s not like you don’t flirt around too, though” Bethany pointed out.

“Hmph, whatever. Now if you don’t mind, I’m going to have a nice shower” Stacy said still pouting, as she walked towards the bathroom. Bethany simply shook her head in mild amusement.

“It’s pretty unusual for her to lose her cool like that. I think this might be the first time I saw her react so stubbornly. It was kinda cute, actually” the brown haired detective thought with a small laugh, before she heard the water running.

“Maybe I should join her for a bath. I can’t have her being too mad for tonight, after all!” she continued her thinking with a mischievous smile, as she slowly made her way towards the bathroom, as well.

“So, where is the meeting point?” Stacy asked, as she and Bethany, who had switched to her Mistress of the Night persona, jumped through rooftops, as they made their way in the night city.

“My investigation has shown that the dealings will take part at the docks. We’ll meet my friend at the warehouse near the gate, so we can come up with a plan” Nocturne said.

“The docks. The imagination of these people simply astounds me! Still, I’m pretty curious to meet this friend of yours. Why haven’t you told me who she is yet? I’m pretty sure I would have heard about her already” Stacy wondered.

“I know that. That’s why I didn’t tell you! It’s a surprise!” Nocturne responded smiling, and Stacy was certain that she could see her wink behind her visor.

“You big tease! Fine, have it your way!” Stacy said, as she slowly shook her head.

“You seem to have a lot of fun, though! Seeing you smile like that, is all I could ask for!” she thought, as the two young women continued their way. It wasn’t long before they reached the docks, as they both landed on the tall warehouse and looked around.

“You guys are right on time!” a voice was heard, as the visor wearing duo turned towards the direction of the voice. A beautiful, dark haired, young woman was standing in front of them, with a confident smirk on her pretty face. Her slim, toned figure was covered with a revealing outfit, which consisted of a black, leather top with a rather low neckline, matching black shorts, a leather belt where a pair of handcuffs and a button were hanging, short boots, and fishnet stockings that went all the way over to her firm thighs, while a black eyehole mask hid her features, which made her even more alluring.

“Wow! You were right about her being amazing! What a knock out!” Stacy said, unable to draw her eyes from the masked beauty, who made her way towards them.

“I told you. Now remember, we are here for a mission, not fun!” Nocturne said with a teasing smile.

“I know that! You think I haven’t got enough practice holding myself back when I’m around you?” Stacy said back, coolly.

“I’m glad to see you again, Nocturne! It’s been a while!” the masked beauty said enthusiastically.

“I suppose it has. Nice of you to drop by for a visit, Fightgirl!” Nocturne responded, as the two brunettes exchanged a warm hug.

“Of course! The only thing that makes beating up bad guys even more fun, is beating them up with a good friend!” Fightgirl winked, before she turned towards the blond.

“Who’s your friend? A fellow heroine?” she asked with interest.

“Well, I don’t think the word heroine is that accurate” Stacy chuckled.

“But I have heard about you, Fightgirl. I’m glad that I finally get to meet you” the blond continued, as she eyed the mask heroine.

“That’s sweet of you! I hope you’ve heard some nice things about me” Fightgirl with some embarrassment.

“Well, they are certainly, interesting things! And of course you look way more beautiful up close, than from pictures!” Stacy said with a flirty expression.

“You are, pretty forward, aren’t you?” Fightgirl responded, smirking.

“She is one of my friends, and someone who has helped me several times before. I guess you could call her, Hitgirl” Nocturne made the introductions, causing the other two to look at her with raised eyebrows.

“Hitgirl? Seriously?” Stacy said with a dry expression.

“That’s the best I could come up with right now” Nocturne said with an honest expression.

“I see. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Hitgirl” Fightgirl said, with a kind smile.

“Let’s just focus on our current mission. And please don’t call me that!” Stacy shook her head, causing the two heroines to let out a small laugh.

“You are right. Fightgirl, did you observe anything while you’ve been here?” Nocturne asked taking a serious expression, while she activated her visor.

“I haven’t been here that long, you guys arrived about two minutes after I came here. But I did notice some movement between the other warehouses. I’m pretty sure that they are guards, patrolling the area” Fightgirl said, as the three of them took a closer look from their position.

“The dealing is probably taking place by the sea, most likely near that big cargo ship” Stacy noted.

“You are both right. It looks like we’ll have to make our way through all these guards, to reach their bosses. They are not that many, but we not should drop our guard” Nocturne said.

“I think we can take them. There’s no way they can take down all three of us!” Fightgirl smiled with confidence.

“I like your spirit Sweetie, but we should better act with a plan. Rushing head first will probably end up with us getting captured. We wouldn’t want that right?” Stacy said with a sly smile, as the dark haired heroine slightly blushed.

“Yeah, we should better avoid that” she mumbled.

“If can split and use the environment on our advantage, then we will be able to take out most of the guards without them realizing anything” Nocturne deducted.

“We’ll need eyes on a good spot, so she can inform the others on the goons’ movements. I got this covered” Stacy added, as she reached for her back pack, and took out her riffle.

“You brought a gun? I guess that’s where “Hitgirl” comes from. I’m guessing you have some sort of tranquilizer darts with you” Fightgirl mumbled, with some uncertainty.

“Of course I do!” the blond responded naturally.

“Good! One more thing. We will need some headsets, in order to keep in touch with each other” the masked heroine noticed.

“Got them here. Let’s gear up then” Nocturne said, as she gave her each of her teammates a pair of micro headsets. The two heroines then leapt forward, while the agent took her position on a new spot, giving hints on the goons’ positions and providing support from above. Their teamwork proved to be nearly flawless, and it wasn’t long before the two heroines arrived at the meeting point.

“Did you guys meet up?” Stacy’s voice was heard from the headsets.

“Yes, we have. And we have a clear view of our targets” Nocturne responded, with a low voice.

“Good! I’m on my way then” Stacy said, as the communicator went silent.

“Will you look at these guys? Could they look more like mafia bosses?” Fightgirl commented, as she looked at the ones who made the dealing. One of them was a bold, middle aged man, dressed in a white pinstripe suit and holding a cane, while the other was a taller, younger looking man, with a black goatee and cornrows, dressed in a crimson suit with his vest open.

“What kind of dealings are they doing exactly?” Fightgirl asked.

“If my research is correct, rare antiquities” Nocturne said.

“You mean that some old treasures will end up on these guys’ walls, instead to a museum where they can actually be appreciated?” the masked wearing heroine said.

“Pretty much” Nocturne nodded.

“The area is pretty wide here, so no more sneaking. Fortunately, there are not many guards around here” she continued, observing the situation.

“Right, we should have no problem taking them out. Although, that big guy over there might be a problem” Fightgirl pointed out a certain goon, who was positioned right next to the bald mafia guy. Indeed, it was a huge, bulky guy with broad shoulders, with short black hair, dressed in a black suit.

“We can do this! Let’s go!” Nocturne said decisively, dashing forward.

“Right behind you!” Fightgirl said, as the two heroines stood in front of the goons.

“What is going on there?” the bold man said, turning around.

“Out for a romantic walk by the sea, guys? Sorry to cut this short, but the docks are closed for the public!” Nocturne said lightly, putting her hands on her hips.

“Perhaps you could try a small Italian place down the street, which is perfect for dates!” Fightgirl added with a smirk.

“Tsk, it’s these meddling heroines! We’d really like some company girls, but we are busy now. As you will soon be. Get them!” the cornrow haired man said.

“Let’s have some fun, guys!” the goons yelled, as they attacked.

“Here it goes!” Nocturne said calmly, throwing a gas grenade at the charging goons.

“Gah! Where are they? Hey, watch it! Aargh!” the goons groaned, as a thud was heard.

“Did they just fall on each other?” Fightgirl wondered with a mix of surprise and amusement.

“So it seems. Let’s wrap this up” Nocturne said simply, as the two heroines dashed towards the disoriented goons, taking them out with ease.

“That was simple. Now if you two gentlemen could just give up” the dark haired heroine said, walking towards the bosses.

“Don’t get ahead of yourself, foolish heroine. Brick, take care of them!” the bold man commanded, as the large henchman who had remained next to him stepped forward.

“I will say this only once! Leave now, or I will have to hurt you” he said with a heavy voice, and an almost indifferent expression.

“How considerate of you. But I think we’ll be just fine!” Fightgirl said decisively, as she attacked with a number of swift strikes, followed by a hard kick on the henchman’s side of head. Her expression however, slowly changed to complete shock, as the large man remained completely unfazed by her strikes.

“I warned you” he said simply, as he moved faster than one would expect for his size, and landed a hard, open palmed strike, which Fightgirl was barely able to dodge, by moving aside. The henchman however, followed up with a big swing of his arm, which landed heavily on the masked heroine.

“Ugh!” Fightgirl grunted, as she was sent rolling on the ground for several meters.

“Fightgirl!” Nocturne yelled worriedly, as she leapt forward, attacking with a swift combination as well and striking her target with every blow, but the henchman barely took a step back, before he struck back with another palm strike. Bethany lifted her arms in order to block the strike, but the force was strong enough to send her crushing on the ground.

“What kind of monster he is? How is he that strong?” the brunette panted, as she slowly got back on her feet.

“You shouldn’t have underestimated me” the large man said with his heavy voice, as he slowly walked towards the heroine.

“We won’t make that mistake again!” Nocturne said back, as she threw another smoke grenade, causing the henchman to raise his hand in front of him. Nocturne quickly reached for her stun gun and took aim, but her eyes grew wide in shock, and she was barely able to dodge the incoming, heavy pipe that flew towards her, losing her stun gun as she fell on the ground.

“Did you really think that this smoke thing would work twice?” the henchman growled, as he glared the fallen heroine with a menacing look. Suddenly, Fightgirl attacked from behind, striking him hard with her button on the back of his head. The henchman seemed dazed for a moment, and the masked heroine went for another strike. Her button however, was simply knocked from her hands, as the large man recovered quickly, and blocked the strike with his arm. Fightgirl tried to continue her attack with another kick, but the bulky man simply grabbed her leg, he lifted the stunned heroine in the air, and slammed her on the ground like a rag doll. Fightgirl could barely realize what happened when she felt a strong punch land on her belly hard, causing to let out a pained cry, feeling her body completely smashed.

“Fightgirl, no!” Nocturne yelled desperately, as she tried to help her friend, but a strong elbow strike sent groaning back on the ground.

“You shouldn’t have underestimated Brick! He has been training rigorously from the moment he started walking!” the bald mafia boss said with a satisfied smile. The large man then leaned down, wrapping his big hand around Fight Girl’s tender neck, and effortlessly lifted her in the air.

“Hey Brick, don’t beat them up too much. These two will get a very good price! After we are done with them, of course” the cornrow haired man let out a mocking laugh.

“While I do agree about the business part, I would prefer if you didn’t put your hands on them” the bald mobster said, with a disapproving expression, holding his cane firmly.

“Don’t worry about that. I just want to test them so I can have a personal opinion. It will make the sell even more convincing” the taller man chuckled.

“Someone’s getting too excited! It’s about time you cool off!” a female voice was suddenly heard, and before the bosses realized what happened, they were both knocked out.

“It’s good to see that some people have at least some standards. While some others are simply trash” Stacy commented glancing at the two mobsters, before she aimed with the riffle at the large man.

“That’s enough of you, big guy!” she said, as she shot directly at his shoulder, causing him to let out a heavy grunt, as he stumbled dizzily, letting Fighgirl to fall on the ground, who struggled to catch her breath.

“There’s more of you?” he growled, as he reached back and took out the dart, before he turned towards the agent, and walked towards her.

“Are you okay?” Nocturne said with worry, as she helped the panting Fighgirl to her knees.

“I’ve been better. We should help her” the dark haired heroine grunted, as the two heroines groggily got back on their feet.

“You can barely stand, and I need a moment to catch my breath. Let’s hope that this shot managed to slow this monster down a bit” Nocturne said.

“You are one tough bastard! Too bad I’m out of bullets” Stacy lightly said, as she let her riffle on the ground, and took a fighting chance.

“You should have brought more. It takes more than one puny dart to take me down!” Brick growled, as he attacked with a number of heavy strikes.

“That dart was way more potent than you think!” Stacy said back, as she managed to evade the heavy blows and attacked with a flurry of strikes of her own.

“Look, the strikes are actually taking effect! It looks like that tranquilizer worked” Fightgirl said enthusiastically.

“So it seems. We just need one more push” Nocturne said thoughtfully. The large man stepped backwards from another strong kick, but remained on his feet.

“This will take you out!” Stacy said decisively as she leapt forward with her foot raised, however the henchman grabbed her in the air and tossed her on the ground. The agent gasped, stunned from the slam, and the large man grabbed a heavy barrel, and stood in front of her.

“Time to finish you off!” he said with a loud voice, but let out a loud grunt, as at that moment, Nocturne hit him with her stun gun. Brick felt even more dazed and let the barrel fall, which landed directly on top of his head. He almost let out a snort as he stumbled, and one final kick to his chin from Stacy finally sent him on the ground.

“I told you this would take you out!” Stacy chuckled lightly.

“We did it! He’s finally down!” Fightgirl let out a tired sigh, falling on her knees.

“That was harder than I expected. Let’s just call the police to clean up, and get out of here” Nocturne mumbled, as the other two nodded in agreement.

About twenty minutes later, the small team had already left the docks, and was resting on top of a rooftop.

“Well, that wasn’t so bad!” Stacy commented.

“Oh yeah! It was just peachy!” Fightgirl said sarcastically.

“It was rough, but we were successful! Turns out I needed your help more than I expected. Thank you for that!” Nocturne said, with a grateful expression.

“What are you talking about? Of course you can count on me! Actually, I wouldn’t mind doing another patrol with you again!” Fightgirl smiled back.

“That’s fine by me! But let’s just call it off, for the rest of the night. I think we all need some rest” Nocturne chuckled.

“You can say that again!” the dark haired heroine agreed, but both of the heroines’ attention was drawn by a small grenade that rolled between them.

“Is that…” Nocturne’s words were cut off, as a cloud of gas suddenly surrounded them, causing them to fade out.

“Ugh! What, is going on?” Nocturne groggily murmured, as her senses slowly came around. Once again, she found herself lying on a bed, unable to move, her hands tied above her head, and her legs spread. Only this time she had company, as Fightgirl was lying next to her.

“What happened? Where, are we?” she drowsily said, slowly recovering as well.

“These are some very good questions! And I think I might know who can answer them” Nocturne said, as she noticed a familiar figure slowly walking towards them.

“I see you guys are already up. Good, I was starting to get bored!” Stacy said.

“I’m confused. Is she supposed to be a friend?” Fightgirl wondered.

“I’m sure you have a perfectly logical explanation for that” Nocturne said, with a slight pout.

“It’s pretty simple, actually! We all had a pretty rough night so far. So, it’s time to have some fun!” Stacy responded with a mischievous smile, as she climbed on the bed and straddled Nocturne.

“By the way, those handcuffs really came in handy! It’s nice of you to carry them around, Sweetie!” the blond smiled, as Fightgirl let out a grunt, realizing that her hands were tied by her own handcuffs.

“Does this fun really require us being tied like that?” Nocturne said, trying to hide the hint of excitement that slowly appeared on her voice, which didn’t go unnoticed by her blond partner.

“I think it’s pretty essential, actually!” Stacy said, as she ran her fingertips along Fighgirl’s exposed belly, causing her to let out a sharp breath.

“It’s as I told you, my sweet Nocturne! I am not a good girl, like you two! And after a hard night, it’s time I get my reward! Now, which one of you beauties should start with?” she wondered with a seductive purr, as she continued tracing her finger tips over Fighgirl’s lightly covered body, while her other hand slowly lowered Nocturne’s zipper.

“And I thought I actually escaped capture this time” Fighgirl mumbled.

“I think I should have seen this one coming” Nocturne said, with a wry smile.

“Now, my dark haired beauties! Let the fun begin!” Stacy said with a sweet voice, as she leaned closer.

I have been trying to write down a story like this for almost a month now, and I finally got it done. The dark haired, fishnet wearing duo teams up along with the cunning, secret agent, in order to bring down a fishy dealing at Fortune City's docks.

That was fun to read and a nice twist at the end. At least we managed to take down the goon. :-)

Looking forward to more adventures with me, Beth and Stacy.
